Houdini is real!

Magic and disappearing documentation are alive and well.

The “hide the documents” remains widespread in the construction industry.

How would we know? From the financial ruin of being in the industry for 45 years, my husband was set up to fail. The general contractor held files took all the project money, and my husband decided he had enough. It was time to do something about this mess, stress, and mishandled documentation.

Once the largest commercial painting company in Kansas City, we are now the leader in construction technology, allowing all stakeholders to be supported.

Bitter is not good, getting even is better. Together we reinvented the construction industry, 15 years ago, by creating MySmartplans. Success leaves trails, 1,5000+ projects later, only one of those went to discovery, and not one project has ended in litigation. We have busted Houdini’s trick!

Yes, there are good people in the industry. Yes, owners’ reps have their place. However, they do not replace an organized, third-party digital information librarian (DIL) who is preparing documentation for discovery.
