Being Status Quo Distracts You From Being Something Better

Written by Shelley Armato

I was raised by an innovator, my father fixed everything with a radiator hose and clamps. I thought this is how it is supposed to be, I did not question, just try to fix anything broken with a radiator hose and clamp.

Today I have learned that the status quo and radiator hoses are a thing of the past. Just like the widgets being sold in the construction technology space, being status quo makes you just that. Hoping things turn out differently, hoping the project relationship is one based on “friendship,” and your project will work out.  The Silos of unorganized data, cost overruns, costly litigation, and time spent TRYING to find information, is currently, just the way it is.

Have you ever heard a General Contractor say in public, “man, we killed it on that one, we broke the bank, my bonus is going to be huge”? NO, you hear “we did not make any money, we lost our shirts.”  This is like the rubber radiator hose and the clamp, being taught to do and say these things, it is just the way it is.

Is this concept edgy?  Yes, edgy, and truthful! However, avoiding the facts and being a radiator hose will not fix the problem.

Information governance, real-time audit-ready data and live forensics of WHO  WHAT  WHEN  WHERE is the answer, real-time custom-tailored information gathered for your project.

I am not here to be liked, I am here to transform the industry, streamline, and reimagine, won’t you join me?
